About Our Gurdwara
Serving the Butterworth community with devotion, compassion, and the timeless values of Sikhism since 1952
Our Story
Gurdwara Butterworth Sahib was founded in 1952 by a dedicated group of Sikh families who recognized the need for a spiritual and cultural center in the Butterworth area.
What began as a small prayer hall has grown into a vibrant community center that serves not only the local Sikh population but welcomes people from all backgrounds to experience the hospitality, spiritual teachings, and community service that define Sikhism.
Today, we continue to uphold the three fundamental pillars of Sikhism: Naam Japna (meditation on God's name), Kirat Karo (honest living), and Vand Chakna (sharing with others).
